<image:caption>Storey’s Fly Fishing focuses on more than just the fishing. Our goal is to create an experience that clients never forget. Each trip is tailored to the specific client. Whether it’s coaching on casting and presentation skills, educating on entomology, or going out of the way to view the natural beauty of the area, you can be sure that you will leave your trip with more than just a few fish pictures. We have a deep passion for enjoying time in the outdoors, and strive to share that with every group we take out.</image:caption>

      <image:title>About - your guide</image:title>
<image:caption>Chuck gained a strong passion for fishing at a young age, even if it meant waking his dad up at 4:00am on a Saturday to go drill holes in a frozen lake. He began teaching himself fly fishing at the age of 13. After a brief stint in the corporate world, he entered the professional guiding industry in 2016. He now splits his time guiding professionally in Oregon and Alaska. When not guiding, he enjoys mountain biking, backcountry skiing, waterfowl hunting, backpacking, and exploring new rivers.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Full Day Williamson - full day trips</image:title>
<image:caption>Experience the beauty of Southern Oregon’s landscape while targeting some of the largest trout in the west. Launch at sunrise and hit the morning bite. Float 3 miles of pristine spring creek, fishing out of a drift boat along the way. Lunch is served at the riverside before continuing on through the remainder of the float where river topography changes and the fishing techniques do as well. Although the fishing on the Williamson is not always that easy, it is a great river to challenge yourself, learn the in’s and out’s of fly fishing, and one of the best opportunities to catch the trout of a lifetime.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Half day trips are perfect for those who just want to try out fly fishing, have limited time in the area, or want to plan other activities into their day and don’t want to commit to a full day on the river. Half day trips typically launch and take out at the same location, making logistics easier, while still accessing some of the best fishing water on the river.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Hex Hatch - Hexagenia hatch</image:title>
<image:caption>The epitome of fly fishing. Big, juicy mayflies suddenly covering surface of the river at dusk with trophy trout aggressively rising all over the place. Cast a 2” long dry fly that will land among hundreds, be picked up and thrown down by bats multiple times before an interested fish comes up and swallows it. This experience is unique to the Williamson and is one that should be witnessed by every avid angler. Finish your trip by floating the remainder of the river under the moonlight.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Rogue River Fly Fishing - Rogue river</image:title>
<image:caption>Originating in the Cascades near Crater Lake, the Rogue flows over 200 miles through Southwestern Oregon to the Pacific. The majority of the river is controlled by a bottom-release dam, keeping the water cool and fishing consistent throughout the summer despite high ambient temperatures. Fishing is done out of drift boats below the dam in the area near Shady Cove. Float one of Oregon’s most famous coastal rivers and experience the surrounding beauty of the steep mountains and deciduous forests. Half and full day trips are available.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Alaska - tsiu river</image:title>
<image:caption>The Tsiu is a remote coastal stream in Southeast Alaska that is well known as the best coho salmon fishery in the state. It is estimated that between 60,000-100,000 coho enter the river each summer to spawn. Steelhead, Dolly Varden, Pink Salmon, and Sockeye are also caught. The river is loved by experienced and beginner anglers all the same. These fish are aggressive enough that a beginner can catch 20+ fish a-day on a fly. They also love to fight hard and jump, and offer unique opportunities for avid fly fisherman such as throwing poppers in the shallows.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Wood River Fly Fishing - Wood River</image:title>
<image:caption>The Wood is a true spring creek surrounded by private ranches and protected wetlands. This 10 mile float is known for its scenery, with wildlife from river otters to osprey and the backdrop of the rim of crater lake. Stalk trophy brown and rainbow trout in a combination of boat fishing and wading the banks. The wood can offer great dry fly fishing opportunities. Like many of the waters in the Klamath basin, the Wood is a technical fishery and is best recommended for experts, but beginners who are eager to learn and challenge themselves on spring creek fishing are highly recommended to experience this float.</image:caption>

<image:caption>The Klamath Basin offers some of Oregon’s best stillwater fishing opportunities on various parts of Upper Klamath and Agency Lakes. Trout in the 20-30+ inch range school up by the hundreds in crystal clear water. Stillwater fishing typically produces the largest fish in the basin. Challenge your casting and presentation skills on a half or full day trip out on Klamath’s beautiful spring-fed stillwater fisheries.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Situk River - tsiu river</image:title>
